Al Porto Di Lucca stands out with its exceptional breakfast offerings and cozy accommodation. Each morning started with a generous spread that included fresh croissants, omelettes, and local meats—absolutely delightful! The spacious Double Room with Terrace was a highlight. it felt like a private retreat with comfortable beds that made for restful nights. The charming garden view from the balcony added to the tranquil atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of espresso in the morning sun. The location is ideal too, just a five-minute walk from the city walls and a train station, making it super convenient for exploring Lucca. One minor issue was that there was no TV in the room, which would have been nice for relaxing after a busy day. However, this was easily managed by streaming on the iPad. The hosts were warm and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations for local attractions. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would definitely return without hesitation.

Families love it!
The couples who own the place were incredibly welcoming! They even set up a cozy space for us in the garden with lovely views where we started our mornings with breakfast. And I swear, those croissants at breakfast were the largest I’ve ever seen—couldn’t get enough of them!
Yeah, it wasn’t exactly cheap but still manageable.
